Another Black Conservative's second anniversary

Today marks the second anniversary of Another Black Conservative.  My, how time flies.  It seems like yesterday when I decided to get off my duff and start speaking out.

The last year of doing this blog was a difficult one.  Real time demands kept me from blogging for days on end.  Throughout the those days, I constantly ached to take to the keyboard.  Thankfully, things are under control now and I am pushing hard to get back up to my regular pace.

I would like to thank a few of my top referrers for all the traffic they have sent my way over the last year.

I would also like to give a special thanks to both Sam from The Last Tradition and Tim from Left Coast Rebel for checking in on me when my blogging slacked off.  You guys are good friends and a real inspiration.  Thanks!

I also want to thank all of you readers who have followed ABC over the past two years.  Just like an early anniversary present, I reached 500 followers just the other day.  Thank you all so much.

Now without further delay, lets get back to blogging.  Peace out!

Happy Birthday ObamaCare - We Still Hate You!

Today ObamaCare is one year old. Just like the day it was spawned by Pelosi and Reid, America still hates it.
CNN: (CNN) – One year after President Barack Obama signed the health care reform bill into law, a new national poll indicates that attitudes toward the plan have not budged.
According to a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Wednesday, on the one year anniversary of the signing of the law, a majority continue to oppose the measure, but some of the opposition is from Americans who think the law is not liberal enough.
Thirty-seven percent of Americans support the measure, with 59 percent opposed. That's basically unchanged from last March, when 39 percent supported the law and 59 percent opposed the measure.[...]
There are two ways to look at the poll's overall numbers. One is that 59 percent oppose the law. The second is that if you add the 13 percent who oppose the law because it's not liberal enough to the 37 percent that support the law, you come up with 50 percent of the American people who disagree with the Republican leadership on the issue. The GOP gained control of the House and many state houses and legislatures in the November election on the basis, many experts said, of their strong opposition to what they said was "government controlled health care."
CNN's silly mental gymnastics trying to show that if ObamaCare was more liberal, more people would like it is a real stretch. While 13% said they hate the bill because it is not liberal enough, there is no guarantee that the 37% who support it now would continue to support a more liberal version. Nice try CNN, but no smoke.

It should come as no surprise that people still hate ObamaCare. The more time that goes by, the more nasty crap we find in the bill. Just recently we learned about the hidden $105 billion in bill. Nasty surprises like this will make sure ObamaCare is never popular.

Happy Belated Anniversary To Two Great Blogs

Some of you may have noticed that this blog has been a little off its normal pace the last few days. Sorry, but demands in Real Time cannot be avoided. Unfortunately, during this chaotic time, I missed giving good cheer to two of my fellow bloggers.

The Last Tradition and Just A Conservative Girl both reached their first year anniversary. Both bloggers, just like myself, started blogging to express their frustrations at the sham called “Hope and Change”.  Today they are both kicking it strong.

Please drop by The Last Tradition and Just A Conservative Girl and show some love. Give my apologies for my tardiness.

Happy First Anniversary, Left Coast Rebel!

My good blogger buddy Left Coast Rebel celebrates the first anniversary of his blog today.  Just like me and like many of you, LCR started his blog because he got sick and tired of yelling at the television set (actually Mrs. LCR played an important role too).

Mark my words, by next year Left Coast Rebel will be right up there with Gateway Pundit, Michelle Malkin and Hot Air.

So drop by Left Coast Rebel today and wish him congratulations on a job well done.
