Jessica Simpson's Dad Wants Her to Dump Tony Romo?

Jessica Simpson has reportedly been urged by dad to end her relationship with boyfriend Tony Romo, according to the National Enquirer.

Joe Simpson, Jessica’s father who manages the Simpson sisters, allegedly feels that Jessica is spending too much time with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback so that "distraction” is on her career.

"Joe now feels that Tony has become too much of a distraction for Jessica. Any free time she has, Jess wants to spend with Tony. But rather than blaming his daughter's work ethic, Joe points the finger at Tony. He wants Tony out of her life.” a close friend to Jessica told the Enquirer.”

But Jessica does want to settle down with her beau instead of breaking up with him. "Jessica loves him and won't even consider leaving him at this point……she'd be married and pregnant. Her main concern is getting Tony to settle down and commit.” the insider added.

Ironically, it was dad Joe introduced Jessica and Tony to each other and encouraged their romance.

"She [Jessica Simpson] hasn’t been packing on the pounds because she’s over-eating. The big rumour from her inner circle is that a baby could be the reason she’s carrying some added weight,” Times of India quoted UK Daily Star's source as saying.

"I’m sure she and Tony aren’t ready to say she’s pregnant yet because they don’t want to announce it till later in the pregnancy for fear they’ll jinx the birth. Those closest to them almost certainly know the truth but they will have been sworn to secrecy. Just like her, they’re having to bite their bottom lips and keep mum.”
