Nancy inches one vote closer to imposing ObamaCare upon us all. Rep. John Boccieri (D-Ohio) has decided to take a flying leap off the cliff of doom and vote YES.
From The Hill: An almost somber Rep. John Boccieri (D-Ohio) said Friday that he will switch his vote to 'yes' on the health care bill.
Boccieri is in the swing district of swing districts in the swing state of swing states. His vote was a big get for the Democratic leadership, and it will be a key test of how the issue tests in November. He faces businessman Jim Renacci.
Boccieri said politics were not on his mind, though. He noted that the woman President Obama highlighted in his appearance in Ohio this week, Natoma, is from his 16th district.
"This town is wrought with that these days," he said. "But leadership on both sides are worried about who's going to take the House, who's going to keep the House. Who's worried about Natoma keeping her House?"
Aw, he is doing it for Natoma. I doubt it, last time out Nancy allowed Boccieri to vote NO to save his skin. Well the bill has come due and Boccieri must take one for the team.
From Politico: The vulnerable first termer from a manufacturing-heavy, conservative-minded, district around Canton said that he's willing to risk losing at the polls to reverse his 'No' vote from November and support a bill he thinks will ultimately help the people of his district.Consider the boy toast. The fact that Nancy is now sacrificing members who may have had a chance in November tell you she is desperate for votes.
