The Huffington Post has a very interesting story up about a curious statement made by spooky dude George Soros to wealth Democrat donors.
Huffington Post: WASHINGTON -- At a private meeting on Tuesday afternoon, George Soros, a longtime supporter of progressive causes, voiced blunt criticism of the Obama administration, going so far as to suggest that Democratic donors direct their support somewhere other than the president.
The Hungarian-American financier was speaking to a small side gathering of donors who had convened in Washington D.C. for the annual gathering of the Democracy Alliance -- a formal community of well-funded, progressive-minded individuals and activists.
According to multiple sources with knowledge of his remarks, Soros told those in attendance that he is "used to fighting losing battles but doesn't like to lose without fighting."
"We have just lost this election, we need to draw a line," he said, according to several Democratic sources. "And if this president can't do what we need, it is time to start looking somewhere else." [MORE]
What exactly is the spooky dude saying here? Is he advocating a challenger to Obama or is a he telling progressive donors to look for additional ways to push their crazy agenda? Keith Olbermann explored both possibilities in this video clip below.

A primary challenge to Obama would be a very risky thing. Even if someone was able to pick off Obama, they would probably have to go into the general election with diminished support from the black community. The black community would see ditching Obama as a betrayal, plain and simple and a significant number probably would not support the winner. With full compliance from the black community any Democrat presidential candidate would be at a major disadvantage.
Most likely, the spooky dude was telling donors to seek additional avenues to help spread their message. Although, in the end I think that will be a big waste of money. The Democrats problem is not messaging; it is the actual policies they are trying to push. America simply doesn’t care for them no matter how the left tries to sell it.
If the left is still hell bent on pushing a hard left agenda even after The Shellacking, then this statement by Palin could very well come true.
