Before you get all mushy about AILA and start bashing USCIS take deep look and see if AILA is really acting as a friend or a adversary in friends disguise?
atleast they are doing something. I have not recd a RFE but I can understand the tension that a family undergoes because of RFE ..I don't understand your problems with AILA though ?? less RFE's mean less lawyers fees and it is high time that someone talks about the unprofessional USCIS

Good to see this bill and it will be great if it is passed even with less than 60% allocation from the lottery program. I don’t think they would completely eliminate lottery program and the lottery program might have their own advocacies. As mentioned in this thread they might have the lottery program for many reasons. I am hoping for the bill to pass as it is :-)
Regarding satyasrd’s question I think section 2 . line #15 thru #19 in the bill (I copied the text below) helps who obtain the advanced degree in USA before 01/05/2011 (preceding the date of the petition) and obtain the degree within 5 years you should be good to go. Others please correct me if I am wrong.
15 ‘‘(ii)(I) obtained such degree within
16 the United States during the 5-year period
17 preceding the date on which the petition
18 filed under section 204(a)(1)(F) for
19 classification under this subparagraph is filed;

Thanks for that reply. The company's business line is very niche and it started developing a technology for that niche market in India some 5 years back. I have been involved in the design and implementation of that technology right from its inception. In fact I am one of the core persons who designed and implemented the solution.
Our customer base is increasing in the US. This is one of the reasons why I need to be transferred to the US. Several of our customers are coming up with unique requirements and it requires me to analyze them before providing them a solution. Also, some features of the technology are governed by a large set of exacting standards put forth by a consortium in the US. I am one of the members of that consortium and my presence cum contribution for my company in this regard is very much required.
I possess extensive knowledge of my company's specific technology and software skills which are very rare (we do low level software development - not the ones that large software companies do). Also, there are only a handful of companies who deal with this market. I believe this should ideally classify me as a person having "specialized knowledge".
Am I right?

Hi Michael, nice shots. It's easy to see that you brought the discipline and hard work of your nature work to the studio. What was your lighting setup? Flash? strobes? How many and what positions? and how did you go about metering? They're very beautiful but just a little flat. Shadows add depth and will make the flowers pop out more. How's that for a vague concept? :) But if you have the ability to reposition the light(s) you should get some very different and interesting results. adjust to taste. shadows are good in many situations. Where is the best place to learn Peoplesoft ? What is future scope of Peoplesoft ? Also where is a good place to learn SAP or Oracle Financials ?
Do local Univ or Community colleges - Computer Science or MIS departments offter these classes ? Does one need to learn C to learn these applications ?
My only prior programming experience is in Basic and Fortran languages eons ago.
A lot of Indian consulting companies offer training prior to marketing yoour resume. Check them out, some medium size ones, big ones have purchased training licences and fulltime trainers in ERP packages like Oracle Finaicials, Peoplesoft, Siebel etc... Though all these are now owned by Oracle.
A good way to enter IT as you have an MBA is try to get into Data warehousing. This woouldd involve a lot of Oracle traning and there are a lot of companies who give beefore they place you on projects. But remember that once you go through consulting companies, andd based on the fact they trained you and placed you, they will pay you a average deceent salary butwill charge the cllient tons of money and client would expect you to work for whhat he gives

Oracle applications, Oracle financials, Siebel, SAP are good fields to enter. Data warehousing is hot and a lot of people get trained. Consulting companies have fulltime trainers and there are a lot of courses you can take.

If you do h1 transfer then the advantage is incase your 485 application gets denied for any reason you will still be in legal status ,where as in case you use EAD and any 485 denial you will be out of status immediately.

This is correct as per my understanding. As soon as your GC is approved you will need AP to re-enter US. IO at POE will have the information about your approved GC. I do not think he will allow you to enter on H4 after the GC Approval.
This is just my understanding. Check with a attorney to get precise information.
